Is there truth in the empirical science of Astrology? Consulting
the morning newspaper for your horoscope might not be convincing
enough. But true astrological reading is accurate because it is
made up of the position of all the planets at the time of your birth.
It is like taking a snapshot of the entire galaxy at that moment.
And these planets determine your life, talents, behaviour, potential,
trends of destiny and much more. The placement of the different
planets in various houses reflects the ways we are likely to approach
or react to situations.
No attempt could be made to train a person into a
professional astrologist through a website. Instead I thought it
would be a good idea to tell you how to read the Natal Chart.
I have seen friends of mine pass over print-outs of their charts
as mind-numbing mathematical formulations. Understanding the planets
and their characteristics, the houses and the zodiac signs will
take you a long way in making meaning of the chart. It is great
to have a report and analyse the process of interpretation. However,
if you don't have a chart made as yet, try one of the FREE
software's listed below, which you could download
to printout and calculate your Natal Chart. Keep your exact time
of birth, date of birth, place of birth and the place's longitude
and latitude handy when using the software. An atlas should help
you with the longitude and latitude.
CANOPUS
Canopus is
a powerful piece of astrological software by Samuel Sagan (http://clairvision.org).
It makes casting a chart easy and fast. It contains full intepretations
of planetary aspects and many chart variations -
I recommend Canopus
The Natal Chart created
would closely resemble samples shown below. In case your chart shows
squares instead of a circle or abbreviations instead of symbols
(glyphs), do not fear. They are interpretations represented different
graphically.
